The film is set in pre-christion Rome ruled by emperor Julius (Sapru) and Brutus (Nazir Hussain) as head of Roman senate. Extra (Sohrab Modi) is ajew, living with his son. Due to a small error Ezra's son is punished by brutus and gets death sentence. Extra kidnaps brutus young daughter lydia, naming her Hannah.

Marcus (Dilip) meets Hannah( Meena Kumari) and falls in Love. Ezra comes to know that marcus is a hated Rome and not a jew. He asks marcus to convert and become a jew but marcus refuses. Ezra asked Hannah to closed between her father and her lover.
