Pasha is a dangerous anti social character on the run from a jail. Pasha is also married to the jailor daughter, but after she bears a son, vijay, Pasha deserts them and vanghas Vijay is brought up by the jailor and his son Ashok. Ashok turn into a thief kidnap Ashok as the years go by. Ashok is renamed as Suraj and an account of a head injury, Ashok forgets his past. Vijay in the meantime becomes a well-known police inspector feared by the underworld. The paths of Ashok and Vijay naturally cross and Vijay is never successful in entirely providing that Ashok is a thief.

Ashok falls in love with Arti, with who Vijay is also in love. Arti however desires to marry Ashok, but is shocked when Vijay informs her that Ashok is a thief. When confronted by this Ashok vows to turn over a new life. But the basti in which Ashok requires Rs. 20 Lakh, he therefore, commits a big bank robbery with the help of pasha, who in turn desires that Ashok should be caught so that the Jailor can at least discover that his own son is a thief. Vijay is shocked to discover that he is actually hated Pasha son.

When he goes to confront pasha, he discovers that Pasha’s accomplice has kidnapped Aarti. Krishna, who is demanding a ransom. Ashok has in the meanwhile managed to escape from the jail and there is usual the mean while managed to escape climax confrontation. Vijay lays down his life for the jailor who had always regarded as a father and Arti and Ashok are reunited.
